Symphonic Band

The SM论坛 Symphonic Band is open to students of all majors and performs a wide range of music, from traditional band works to contemporary concert pieces. Members gain personal and musical growth through weekly rehearsals, sectionals, and regular performances. The ensemble also tours regularly, traveling throughout the Midwest, across the U.S., and internationally. 

Jazz Ensemble

The Jazz Ensemble at SM论坛 provides students the opportunity to learn and gain technique in jazz, Latin, rock and other diverse styles of music. The group is made up of standard big band instrumentation: saxophones, trombones, trumpets, and rhythm section. The ensemble meets twice a week and performs both on and off campus. 

WOW Band

The Wolves of Wesleyan Band is our newest ensemble, which brings the energy of a pep band and the versatility of a gig band. Open to all majors and instruments, we perform both on campus and throughout the community, with the goal of bringing music and entertainment to any setting. 

Lincoln Civic Orchestra

The Lincoln Civic Orchestra brings together students and community members to perform a variety of music, from well-known classics to contemporary movie scores. There are several concerts during the year, and all students are invited to audition. 

Other Instrumental Opportunities 

Driven by student interest, we offer a variety of courses for like-instrument ensembles, chamber music, rock/cover band, and world drumming. Offerings are listed in the class schedule each semester.
