Nebraska Wesleyan University crowned Kelsey Arends of Lincoln and Ross Mumford of Elmwood as its 2013 homecoming queen and king.
The college seniors were crowned on Thursday, September 19 and reigned over the university鈥檚 homecoming activities throughout the weekend, September 19-22.

Nebraska Wesleyan University has announced its Academic Honors List for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year.

A student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.75 (on a 4.00 scale) for 12 or more hours of coursework to qualify for the list.

Just a few weeks ago, Nebraska Wesleyan University student James Hamrick was rehearsing lines for the rock musical 鈥淏loody Bloody Andrew Jackson.鈥�

The summer theatre opportunity in his native city of Houston, Texas, would add another experience to his already impressive resume.

But an interesting change of events has Hamrick changing his summer plans.

Nebraska Wesleyan University sophomore Gabe Taylor fondly remembers the University Choir鈥檚 international tour to Estonia last summer. He enjoyed the country so much that he called his mom from Estonia saying he didn鈥檛 want to come home.

Thanks to a Gilman International Scholarship, Taylor will return to Estonia for his spring semester.
