"When asking ourselves 鈥淲hy we give鈥� we thought of Nebraska Wesleyan's core values. In particular, two core values inspire us to give back: Liberal Arts and Community.

Next fall students will be welcomed back with several improvements and changes to our food service program.

Key changes will include:

Four Nebraska Wesleyan University students with a passion for activism were in Arizona March 21-23 attending the Seventh Annual Clinton Global Initiative University (CGIU).

Seniors Rebecca Brune and Jessica Adkisson, both of Lincoln, Alex Langley of Tekamah, and junior Bailey Wood, also of Lincoln were among 1,000 college students in the country selected for the conference.

Lincoln artist Craig Roper brings his take on growing up in the contemporary west to the next Elder Gallery exhibit, 鈥淢y Western Landscape.鈥�

The exhibit opens Tuesday, April 1 and continues through Friday, April 25. An opening reception will be held Friday, April 4 from 5 to 7:30 p.m., with an artist talk at 6:30 p.m.

Former students of LaVerne Rudell surprised their beloved professor with an endowed fund in her name during Nebraska Wesleyan University鈥檚 sixth annual Business Summit, held March 7.

Rudell, professor emerita of business administration, taught at Nebraska Wesleyan for 30 years from 1966 to 1996.
